Early Garden History
Spring 2008; Mondays 6:30-9 pm, January through March

There’s so much more to garden design than good graphics. Discover how gardening led to the birth of civilization and has been inextricably linked ever since. Study the unique features of Eastern and Western garden traditions as they evolved through time and their relevance to design today. Learn why certain elements have endured and still impact garden design, and how they can be adapted for your use.

Ten class sessions, two field trips, one lab exercise, and a research project geared to working students’ busy schedules. The School’s CEUs=3.2

Coming this Fall
